How to change ownership of an Operoo profile from a parent to an +18 year old

Instructions to change the ownership of a Care Profile

            From parent to youth member at/when they turn 18 years of age.

      1)    18 year old will first need to go to Operoo Website and open an account https://groups.operoo.com/users/sign_up by using their email address and setting up a password. But do not set up the profile.

      2)      Parent of youth member now logs into childs Operoo account.

      3)      Parent selects the youth member’s name that the change of ownership is for.

      4)      Select the blue button “Transfer”, located under the photo of your child.

      5)      Input the email address that your child has used for their Operoo account. From the drop down list select “Self” to indicate that the profile will now be managed by the profile owner themselves.

      6)      Select the blue “Transfer” button.

      7)      Youth member will now log into their own Operoo account and click on the green button “Accept”.

 

The transfer is now complete.
