Serving Alcohol at Fundraising Events

Serving Alcohol at Fundraising Events

All fundraising events must comply with the Scouts Victoria Alcohol, Smoking and Drugs policy. Please ensure you have read the policy in full before planning your fundraising event.

If you wish to run a fundraiser that involves the service or consumption of alcohol, you will likely require an exemption from the Scouts Victoria Alcohol, Smoking and Drugs policy, issued by the Chief Commissioner. Exemptions can be requested here.

Exemptions are issued on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed. Please ensure you request any necessary exemptions well in advance of your fundraiser to allow sufficient time for the Chief Commissioner’s review.
