What is ScoutHealth?
ScoutHealth is Scouts Victoria's new secure platform for collecting, storing and managing member health information and support needs.
Why is Scouts Victoria introducing ScoutHealth?
To replace a mix of older processes with one secure, accurate, and easy to access system, so the right health information is available when it matters most.
Is my information secure?
Yes. ScoutHealth has been rigorously tested and built alongside updated privacy and data management policies. Information is only visible to the member or family, and to authorised Scouts Victoria administrators.
Is anything changing for upcoming camps and events right now?
No. Existing health information processes will continue as normal during this stage. Nothing changes for activities already planned.
What are the two stages of the rollout?

Do I need to do anything right now?
No immediate action is needed. You'll receive a personal email with a link and instructions when it's your turn to register.
How do I register?
Click the link sent to you, click Register Now, and enter the email address linked to your child's Scouts membership. You'll then verify your email, set your name and mobile number, and create a password.
Can Leaders see my information?
Not yet. During Stage 1, your information is only visible to you and authorised Scouts Victoria administrators. Leader access comes in Stage 2.
How will Leaders get my child's health information if they can't see it in ScoutHealth yet?
Health information stored in ScoutHealth can be printed and shared with Leaders when required, the same as current practice.
What if I have more than one child in Scouts?
You can link multiple member profiles to your single ScoutHealth account.
What information do I need to provide?
Medical conditions, medical/mobility/physical aids, physical conditions, mental health or wellbeing related information, emergency details (blood type, tetanus date), and consent items such as permission to administer paracetamol.
What if my circumstances change later?
You can log back in at any time to update your information. Please do this whenever something changes.
I'm having trouble registering or logging in. Who do I contact?

Will I have access to member health information through ScoutHealth?
Not during Stage 1. Leader access is introduced in Stage 2, approximately two months after the Member Portal launches.
What can I do to support the rollout?
Encourage members and parents/carers in your Group or Unit to complete their profile as soon as they receive their invitation, and support anyone who needs help accessing the platform.
How do I access health information for camps and events in the meantime?
Existing processes remain unchanged. Health information in ScoutHealth can be printed and shared with you when required.
Where can I find training materials for Stage 2?
Training materials and user guides will be provided ahead of the Management Portal release.
