How much are membership fees for youth members?

The Branch fee for 2024 is $268.00

 

I need to register new youth members

Remember: youth registrations are currently FREE in March. Don't hesitate to register new members. Usually youth registrations processed during March will not incur a fee for that month so please make sure that all members that are attending are registered.

 

I have youth applications waiting in the system

Any youth applications and transfers that have been in the queue for more than 30 days will be approved on March 1 2023 in order to provide an accurate data count. We urge you to clear any other youth applications that are less than 30 days in order to have an accurate census.

 

I have a Rover turning 26 this year

We offer pro-rata registration fees for these Rovers. If this applies, we will be in contact with both the Rover and the GL shortly. They may, of course, take on an adult role in Scouting and we encourage you to discuss those opportunities with them.

 

I need to transfer a youth member to another Group.

You have until midday March 14 2024 to complete the transfer of youth members to a new Group via Extranet. Shortly after midday, all outstanding youth membership transfers will be processed as 'accepted' by the Membership Support Team. Receiving Groups will see the inclusion of transferred youth members in a summary census report.

 

I need to inactivate a youth member.

This is completed via Extranet. We suggest you do this earlier rather than later, to prevent any mishaps. The deadline for this is 11.59pm, March 31 2024

 

I need to transfer an adult member to another Group or change their appointment.

The Adult change online form is used to change an adult appointments. This will need to be approved by the appropriate Commissioner and submitted by 12pm March 20 2024. This allows the necessary time for us to process it before the invoice is issued on April 1.

 

I need to inactivate an adult member.

The Adult change online or paper form is used to notify that a Leader is relinquishing their appointment. This will need to be approved by the appropriate Commissioner and submitted to the Victorian Scout Centre by 12pm March 20 2024. This allows the necessary time for us to process it before the invoice is issued on April 1.
