Benevity - Corporate Donations

Benevity is an online corporate giving platform used by many businesses to support charities and community organisations. It allows employees to donate to eligible organisations directly through their workplace giving programs. Scouts Victoria is a registered not-for-profit with Benevity, meaning businesses using the platform can donate to Scouts Victoria, and to specific Scout Groups.

If a parent, Leader, or supporter works for a business that uses Benevity and wants to donate to their local Scout Group, the Group must be listed correctly under the Scouts Victoria Benevity account. Individual Scout Groups do not need their own Benevity account, instead, Scouts Victoria manages the central account and can list individual Groups as 'projects' so donations are correctly attributed.

To add your Scout Group to the Scouts Victoria Benevity account please email grants.manager@scoutsvictoria.com.au with your Group name. 

When donations are received, Scouts Victoria will forward any assigned funds to your Scout Group. Please note that it can take over a month for the funds to be received by your Scout Group after a business makes a donation through Benevity.
