How to change a Contributor to an Adult Supporter or Leader role


Even though they are already a member, our compliance procedures for a Leader, an Adult Supporter or Adult Support-Carer all require the suitability checks below.
  1. Reference Check
  2. National Police Check (conducted and paid for by Scouts Victoria)

From the Membership tab in Extranet, select New Member ->Invitations -> Generate Invitation to Join.



Select correct Classification for members new role:


Adult Support - Non-uniformed Adult Members who regularly supervise and work in youth sections. Adult Supporters are regularly helping and supporting overnight activities such as sleep overs, pack holidays, hikes and camps.                                                                                                                     **Adult Supports and Adult Support-Carers are the only non-uniformed members who can assist on overnight activities

                         - Group Committee members who require access to Scout systems (i.e. Extranet, Office 365 or Bank Accounts)
                         - Family or Parental Carers can be registered as an Adult Helper.

Adult Support - Carer - An Ongoing External Organisation Carer

Leader - Adult who has agreed to take on a leadership role in Scouting as either a Youth Program Leader OR Program Support Leader

  2. Enter applicable role 
  3. Select Generate Invitation to Apply

Invitation is now sent to the member to complete the application and progress through the various stages of a new Online Member Application.
